  1. As one of three members of Fort Stewart, I feel that it is important to note that we did not bring this offending book into our house. Our son received it from his great grandma whom upon reading the first few pages to him, flipped to the front cover and exclaimed, “What is this?”.We have strict standards on books for our child, in terms of content, illustration, layout and design. Ian will have to put together a list of our favourite kids picks. Signed, the wife

  2. Bwahahahahaha. The Dad looks like he belongs on COPS. That’s awesome. Not for children obviously but I mean…is he gonna knock Goldilocks unconscious? Is this the Michael Bay version?

  3. Four years later, I’m still finding this funny. Using the broken leg of Baby Bear’s chair as a weapon against Goldilocks. Wow.

  4. He he, this is funny indeed…

I posted about a strange book for kids too some time ago, http://www.chicandgeek.com/focus/mais-ca-va-pas-genevieve

it is in french, but basically what it says is that two little pigs decide to go to a picnic, and one of them, “Toudodu” (that could be translated as “plumpy” or something) takes some ham and some salami to eat at the picnic….

    1. It’s never to early too teach our children about the dangers of cannibalism. With pigs. On a picnic.
