Upper Monkey Mix—Best Snack Food Ever

I have discovered the best snack mix known to man. It’s cheap, it only has 3 ingredients, it tastes great, and I’m going to tell you how to make it.

Ladies and gentleman somewhat hungry in the middle of the afternoon, I give you Upper Monkey Mix.

Ingredients

  1. A bunch of chocolate chips
  2. A bunch of roasted peanuts
  3. A bunch of dried banana chips

Instructions

  1. Mix the 3 ingredients in a big ziploc bag. That’s it. It’s snack mix.

What makes Upper Monkey Mix so great? It satisfies your 3 major snacking desires. You have your desire for rich sweets covered by the chocolate chips, your desire for salty snacks covered by the peanuts, and your desire for insanely crunchy things that taste oddly like bananas covered by the banana chips.

It’s cheap—all the ingredients should be available in your local grocery store’s bulk section—and it’s easy to make—the preparation is limited to pouring stuff into a bag. You can pour stuff into a bag. Trust me.

So there you go. Upper Monkey Mix. What are you waiting for? Go make some. If you have any contenders for Upper Monkey Mix’s title as best snack mix ever I’d love to read about them in the comments. And eat them. I’d also like to eat them. 🙂

  1. That sounds tasty! I’m gonna have to swap out the chocolate chips for chocolate covered espresso beans and try a batch of Turbo Monkey Mix.

  2. Yum…….sounds good. Is this one of your’s and Nathan’s inventions? Next time Nathan is over we’ll have to make this.

  3. And I’ll replace the chocolate chips with M&M, and name it Upper Monkey Mix – Carnival edition.

  4. Just tried this today, unbelievable! The sum is definitely greater than its individual parts in this case.

    Genius.

Greetings from Japan, hope your holiday season is awesome!
