Notational Velocity

I finally tried out Notational Velocity just recently. It’s rapidly turning into an app I’m not sure I could go without. If you make a lot of plain text notes for yourself and wish they were magically organized and easily searchable check it out.

  1. It’s definitely a great app for notes!

I also sync my notes with Simplenotes, so I can access them on iPhone with their app:

    1. Same here. 🙂

  2. Love NV, use it for all my note-taking. I actually use nvALT, a fork that includes markdown support, UI tweaks, and a better-looking icon

    1. I’m using nvALT now too — with the horizontal layout and 16px Georgia for the note font. I’m a nerd for Georgia.

  3. So that’s it for Evernote? Or is it still a contender?

    1. I still use Evernote. It’s like my filing cabinet for digital media.

  4. One of my favorite apps.
