I love Robert Sawyer, but his books are very hard to find down here Stateside. Wake was the feature of John Scalzi's Big Idea series several months back (just before it was released, probably), and I thought it looked good then. It seems to be available in my local library system, so I will pick it up. Thanks for reminding me to look for it!

That looks really good! We had a really good relationship with Sawyer back at McNally Robinson when I ran the blog over there. He's a great guy, and this book looks fantastic. I haven't read any scifi in a while, and you may just have convinced me to pick this one up.
